Dealtous - Cancellation, Refund & Dispute Policy

Cancellation, Refund & Dispute Policy
This Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and transaction disputes are handled on Dealtous.
It forms part of the Dealtous Terms & Conditions.
1. General Principle
Dealtous facilitates transactions involving transferable Telegram channels.
Because ownership transfers and cryptocurrency payments have characteristics that may make them difficult or impossible to reverse, users should carefully verify all transaction information before proceeding.
A refund is not automatically available simply because a buyer changes their mind.
Any mandatory rights available under applicable law remain unaffected.
2. Before Channel Ownership Is Transferred
A buyer may request cancellation before ownership of the Telegram channel has been transferred.
A seller may also notify Dealtous that they cannot complete a transfer.
If cryptocurrency has already been received but ownership has not been transferred, Dealtous will review the transaction and, where cancellation is accepted, arrange return of the eligible transaction amount.
Applicable blockchain/network costs or other non-recoverable transaction costs may be deducted where permitted by law.
3. After Ownership Transfer
Once full ownership has been transferred to the buyer, cancellation is generally no longer available merely because:
- The buyer changes their mind;
- The buyer no longer wants the channel;
- Engagement subsequently decreases;
- Subscriber numbers subsequently change;
- Revenue or monetization changes;
- The buyer's commercial expectations are not achieved; or
- Telegram subsequently changes its policies, algorithms, functionality, or enforcement.
This does not prevent a buyer from raising a legitimate dispute concerning fraud, material misrepresentation, or failure to provide what was agreed.
4. Buyer Confirmation
After receiving ownership, the buyer must verify that they have received control of the Telegram channel.
The buyer should confirm the transaction only after verifying successful ownership transfer.
Once the buyer confirms successful receipt, Dealtous may release the seller's proceeds.
Confirmation establishes that the ownership transfer was successfully received. It does not guarantee future channel performance.
5. Failure to Confirm
A buyer must not deliberately withhold confirmation after successfully receiving full ownership.
If the buyer neither confirms receipt nor raises a substantiated dispute within 48 hours after being requested to confirm, Dealtous may review the available evidence.
If the evidence reasonably demonstrates that full ownership was transferred as agreed, Dealtous may complete the transaction and release the seller's proceeds.
6. When a Refund May Be Considered
A refund may be considered where, for example:
- The seller fails to transfer the channel;
- The seller cannot demonstrate authority to sell the channel;
- The channel transferred is materially different from the channel purchased;
- Material listing information was demonstrably falsified;
- The channel was stolen or fraudulently obtained;
- Dealtous receives payment but the transaction cannot be completed; or
- Other evidence demonstrates that the agreed transaction materially failed.
Eligibility will depend on the evidence and circumstances of the individual transaction.
7. Situations Generally Not Eligible for Refund
Subject to mandatory applicable law, refunds will generally not be provided because:
- The buyer changes their mind after receiving ownership;
- Subscriber numbers subsequently increase or decrease;
- Engagement or views subsequently change;
- Revenue subsequently changes;
- Monetization is subsequently lost;
- Telegram subsequently restricts, suspends, or removes the channel;
- The buyer loses access because of their own security practices;
- The buyer violates Telegram's rules;
- The buyer modifies the channel after receiving it;
- Market value changes after purchase; or
- The buyer's expected financial results are not achieved.
8. Opening a Dispute
A buyer or seller experiencing a transaction problem should contact:
The request should include:
- Dealtous transaction/order reference;
- Description of the issue;
- Relevant screenshots;
- Relevant Telegram information;
- Relevant blockchain transaction information; and
- Any other evidence supporting the claim.
Users should contact Dealtous as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.
9. What Happens During a Dispute
Where a dispute is raised before seller proceeds have been released, Dealtous may keep the transaction amount on hold while reviewing the matter.
Dealtous may request additional evidence from either party.
Failure to cooperate may be taken into account when assessing the available evidence.
Dealtous may determine, based on the evidence, that the transaction should:
- Proceed and the seller's proceeds be released;
- Be cancelled and the eligible amount returned to the buyer;
- Remain temporarily on hold pending additional evidence; or
- Require another reasonable corrective action.
Nothing in this Policy prevents either party from exercising legal rights that cannot be contractually excluded.
10. Fraud and False Evidence
Submitting fabricated screenshots, manipulated statistics, false ownership information, fraudulent documents, or knowingly misleading information is prohibited.
Dealtous may suspend or permanently restrict accounts involved in attempted fraud or abuse and may preserve or disclose relevant information where legally required.
11. Cryptocurrency Refunds
Refunds are processed in cryptocurrency.
Where reasonably possible, an approved refund will be sent using the cryptocurrency/network associated with the transaction or another method agreed with the user where necessary.
Users may be required to confirm a valid compatible wallet address before a refund is sent.
Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible.
The user is responsible for providing a correct wallet address and compatible network.
Network fees or other unavoidable blockchain costs may affect the final amount returned where permitted by applicable law.
Dealtous will never request a user's private key or wallet seed phrase in order to process a refund.
12. Refund Timing
Approved cryptocurrency refunds will be initiated within a reasonable period after the refund decision and after Dealtous has received any information reasonably required to process the transfer.
Blockchain confirmation times are outside Dealtous's control.
13. Fees
Where a transaction is successfully completed, Dealtous service or transaction fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law.
Where a transaction fails before completion, the treatment of fees will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
14. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
The availability and scope of consumer rights may depend on factors including the buyer's and seller's status, their locations, the nature of the transaction, and applicable law.
