Step 1 — Prove you own the channel
Buyers will not pay top dollar for an unverified listing. Use a marketplace bot (or equivalent) that confirms you are admin/creator before the channel goes live.
Step 2 — List with live stats and a clear price
Pull subscribers, average views, and engagement from Telegram — not screenshots alone. Set a price you can defend with niche comps and, if relevant, monetization history.
Step 3 — Only transfer after escrow is funded
Never hand over owner rights before payment is secured. On Dealtous, the buyer pays into escrow first. You transfer only after funds are held, then the buyer confirms access and you get paid (minus the platform fee).
Step 4 — Complete a clean ownership handoff
- Add the buyer as admin with the rights they need
- Transfer ownership / creator role per Telegram’s flow
- Remove yourself only after the buyer confirms on-platform
- Keep communication in-channel with the order ID for disputes
What sellers should avoid
- Direct crypto deals without escrow
- Sharing session strings or login codes
- Inflating stats or hiding shared admin access
